Firmitude prides itself on being filled with selfless people, who go above and beyond to help people inside and outside the firmitude team. The star club recognises the great work being done by some of our members, and pays homage to their efforts to help in the community.
Mel Freeman - "Thanks to Firmitude, my confidence has grown on and off the pitch. I have met some amazing friends, learned more about myself and have become part of a unique community. Firmitude has changed the lives of many and is the family I never knew I needed."
Tyne Cross - " Firmitude encourages and motivates everyone on the pitch and off with separate challenges to keep active. There is a real team spirit; I joined Firmitude in 2019, prior to this I had not played football for 10 years but I have made many friends and enjoy sessions each week and the regular tournaments."
Niki Rowswell - "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take."
Completing 100 sessions at Firmitude is no easy feat, but doing so will boost your confidence and wellbeing in a way that only team sport can. The century club honours those who have completed 100 Firmitude sessions, whatever those sessions may be.
"Football has always been in my life. I used to play football AFCB and Yeovil Town - stopped due to injury. I also like to kayak and Dorset gives plenty of opportunities to do that."
"Firmitude helped me find my love for football again"
FIRMITUDE keeps people as a part of the family.
"Being a part of FIRMITUDE is like being myself."
