COMMUNITY FOOTBALL FOR WOMEN IN BOURNEMOUTH

THE HOME OF THE
BOURNEMOUTH BEES

Circular logo with a white bee inside an orange hexagon on a black background, text reads 'Bournemouth Bees' at top, 'Firmitude' at bottom, and '2017' on sides.
Firmitude means stable strength, and we believe sport has the power to bring people together, provide an escape, and build resilience.

Join the Bees today and find a colony of likeminded women who enjoy social, non-competitive sport.

WHAT WE OFFER

WELLBEING IS A TEAM SPORT

Women football players and a coach talking and smiling on a field during evening practice.

We are a volunteer-led charity creating a space for women to enjoy friendship and fitness though football.

We’ve built a community where beginners, rusty returners, and veterans uniquely integrate to support each other to stay active.

FIND YOUR COLONY

Within Firmitude, every member joins one of four colonies for friendly internal competition.
Your colony is your team for challenges, events, and tournaments. All four colonies unite to become The Bournemouth Bees.

“Firmitude has made a huge impact on the recreational side of the game. The flexibility is fantastic, with a clear pathway for players who want to progress into competitive teams.”

“Firmitude provides a place for women to play. In a time where the competitive game continues to grow, it’s important to have a space for women to come together and play for fun.”
